Salon software for beauty salons

A beauty salon visit is rarely one thing — a facial booked alongside a brow tint, or a wax before a spray tan. The calendar treats a mixed visit as one booking with one total, not three separate appointments the client has to coordinate.

A lash treatment underway at a beauty salon

What goes wrong, and what fixes it

Five problems, five settings — each one names the plan it is on

  1. A facial, a brow tint and a wax end up as three separate bookings

Combine compatible treatments into one visit with one total price and duration

  2. A patch test gets forgotten until the client is already in the chair

A patch-test lead time on a service refuses a first-time booking inside the window

  3. Therapists end up double-booked into the same treatment room

Each therapist has their own calendar, and a room-bound service can't double-book the room

  4. Regulars forget to rebook their six-week brow or wax appointment

A rebooking reminder goes out by WhatsApp or SMS at the interval you set

  5. A no-show on a 90-minute treatment slot costs real room time

Take a card deposit at booking, under your own cancellation policy

Questions from this trade

Can one booking cover more than one treatment?

Yes. A client can book compatible treatments together — a facial and a brow tint, say — as one visit with one total price and duration.

Does the calendar know which treatments need a patch test?

Yes. A patch-test lead time is set per service, so a first-time booking inside that window is refused rather than relying on staff to remember.

Can each therapist have their own room and calendar?

Yes — each therapist is a staff member with their own calendar, and a service can require a specific treatment room so two bookings can't double it up.

Can I take deposits on treatments only, not consultations?

Yes. Deposits are set per service, so a deposit on a course of treatments and none on a free consultation is one setting each. Deposits are on Core and above.

Do clients need an app to book?

No. Booking is a web page that works on any phone; the confirmation arrives by email with a calendar file today, with a wallet pass coming.

Can I import my existing clients?

Yes — the importer reads a Fresha client export (name, mobile, email). Appointment history is not imported yet; the switching guide lists what is.

What does it cost?

Free for one treatment room; Core £49 a month for up to 5 staff; Grow £99 for up to 15 with WhatsApp and SMS; Pro £149 with no caps. 0% commission on all four.
