Switching
Moving from Treatwell
Your clients imported with phone numbers normalised; your Stripe account stays yours; both systems can run side by side for a week.
No switch has been timed end to end yet, so no median is printed here. The first measured one will be.
Step 1 — export
Get your client list out
In their console, export your client list as a CSV. The importer looks for these column headers; if their export names them differently, choose the CSV preset and map the columns yourself.
Step 2 — what the importer reads
Field by field
| Field | Status |
|---|---|
| Client name | Imported |
| Mobile number | Imported, normalised to international format |
| Imported | |
| Client notes | Not importedno export column is read for notes yet |
| Services and prices | Not importedentered from your price list; the trade's seed pack loads first |
| Appointment history | Not importedfuture bookings are re-entered; past history is not read |
| Reviews | Not importedreviews belong to their platform |
| Gift card balances | Not importedbalances are re-issued by hand in the console |
Step 3 — the switch weekend
Six things, in order
Import the client list on Friday; preview shows every row as new, duplicate or update before anything is written
Enter next week's bookings by hand — history is not imported, so start from Monday
Message every client the new booking link from the console, by email on any plan, by WhatsApp or SMS on Grow and above
Keep both systems live for 7 days; take new bookings here, honour old ones there
Move the booking button on your site and socials to the new link
Cancel the old subscription after the last old booking is served — none of the four has a notice period that stops you
Migration
Have us do it
The client import is free on every plan: export your client list, upload it, preview every row as new, duplicate or update, then apply. Services and prices are entered from your price list — the seed pack for your trade gets you most of the way.
