August 2026: new signup, resources hub, legal documents, cookie consent and city pages
This wave is about the marketing site and the front door — what a salon owner sees before and during signup.
- Signup is now four steps, and shows your booking link — beautyzilla.com/s/your-salon — as you type your salon name, so you see the address before you commit to it.
- Resources: this hub, with the blog, a help centre grouped by task, and this changelog. Every article carries its reading time and last-updated date.
- Legal documents are versioned. Terms of service, privacy policy and cookie policy v1.0 take effect on 1 September 2026, alongside the data processing agreement, the sub-processor list and the acceptable use policy.
- Cookie consent is per category, and the choice is passed to Google through Consent Mode v2, so nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs until you say so.
- City pages at /salon-software/<city> for salon owners searching by where they are.
- An about page: who builds BeautyZilla and why.
Nothing in the console changes in this wave. Existing booking links, services and plans are untouched.
