Your booking link: the five places it earns bookings
3 min readUpdated The BeautyZilla team
Signup gives you one link — yourdomain/s/your-salon. Where to put it so clients use it: Instagram, Google, WhatsApp, receipts and the marketplace.
The moment signup finishes you have a booking link. It looks like beautyzilla.com/s/your-salon, and it opens on your salon page — name, services, prices — before a client is asked to pick a time. That order matters: someone clicking a cold link should see who you are first, not be dropped into a service picker with no context.
1. Your Instagram bio
Instagram gives you one clickable link, so make it the booking link rather than a link-in-bio page with the booking link two taps further down. Every tap you remove between a before-and-after photo and a confirmed slot is a booking you would otherwise have lost to "I'll do it later". Add the same link to the highlights cover for prices, and mention it in the caption of any post that shows a service you want booked.
2. Your Google Business Profile
Your Business Profile has a field for an appointment link. Fill it with the booking link and the "Book" button appears on your listing when someone searches your salon by name or searches for a salon near them. This is the client who has already decided to book and is choosing where; the salon with the button is the salon that gets the slot. Check the listing shows the same opening hours as your calendar, or you will take bookings for times you have not opened.
3. Your WhatsApp greeting and away message
If clients message you to book, half of those messages arrive while your hands are in someone's hair. A WhatsApp Business greeting message and an away message that both carry the booking link turn "can I get in Thursday?" into a booking without you typing a reply. The client sees live availability instead of waiting for you to check, and you see the appointment in your calendar instead of a thread you have to turn into one.
4. Receipts and confirmation emails
The best moment to book the next appointment is the end of this one. Your booking confirmation and reminder emails already carry a link to manage the appointment; if you print or email receipts, put the booking link on those too. A client who books their six-week colour on the way out is a client you do not have to chase in five weeks.
5. Your marketplace listing
Every plan includes a free listing on the BeautyZilla marketplace, where clients search for salons near them. It is created at signup and it already links to your booking page — the work here is to make it worth clicking: a real cover photo (Free allows three gallery photos, paid plans have no cap), your full service list with prices, and your opening hours. On Core and Grow the listing carries an instant-book badge; on Pro it is also given priority placement in results.
What not to do
- Do not shorten the link through a third-party service. The address is short already, and a shortener is one more thing that can break.
- Do not put the link on a printed card without also putting it on the profile the card sends people to.
- Do not send the link and then take the booking by message anyway. Every booking taken by hand is a client who learns the link is optional.

Five places, one afternoon. From then on the link does the asking.
Questions this article gets asked
Where do I find my booking link?
It is shown at the end of signup and in Online › Site. It has the form /s/your-salon on the BeautyZilla domain, where the last part is the salon name you chose at signup.
Does the link change if I upgrade?
No. The link is the same on every plan. Core and above also let you connect your own domain, and the /s/ link keeps working alongside it.
Do I need a paid plan for the marketplace listing?
No. The listing is free on every plan. Core and Grow add an instant-book badge; Pro adds priority placement in search results.
